Snoring

My fiance has had to sleep on the sofa a couple of nights because my snoring has gotten so bad in the last week. I’m 39 weeks as of Friday. He says that he tries to nudge me, but it just keeps going. I have even woken myself up a couple of times. I usually don’t snore. He said that even though he grew up with three brothers and lived with male roommates in college, he has never heard snoring like this - it is rather embarrassing. Has anyone else experienced this?

It doesn’t seem to be affecting her quality of sleep, just mine…LOL I’m pretty sure her vet could prescribe something, but I was wondering if anyone had tried any of the over the counter medications for dogs with snoring problems. If so, did any of them seem to work?

It’s gotten really bad lately, and it keeps me up at night. I yell “stop snoring”, kick him, and that will make him stop for about 2 minutes, but then it starts again. (He never remembers my yelling or kicks in the morning, so I don’t feel bad.) He never snored in 8 years of marriage until 6 months ago. He’s in his mid 30’s, is extremely fit and is at or below his ideal weight, and has had no change in health. He says the snoring is because he’s “exhausted.” It’s true that he is working longer hours these days. But in any case, the snoring needs to stop! I’m going nuts!

He has tried the over the counter nose strips and the mouth spray. They help some but not enough. He just simply will not have surgery to stop the snoring. I simply need some sleep! Thanks.

It does not matter if he is on his back or his side. I also snore but men sleep more soundly so therefor he can sleep right through it. I ask him to move his position but as soon as he does he falls fast asleep and the snoring starts again. Most nights I find myself going in my kids’ bed or the couch. Help!
